Michael is one of the co-hosts of Chicago’s WLS radio financial and economic talk show, “Securing Your Financial Future™.” For more than a decade, he has successfully helped more than 2,000 clients manage and achieve their financial goals. Michael was a featured speaker on the international radio talk show “Power Trader Radio.”
Michael first entered the financial industry as a trader, specializing in stocks at first, then quickly advancing to trading futures and commodities. “You quickly learn how to become successful at managing risk in this environment; if you don’t, you are done,” says Michael. He then transitioned his knowledge and expertise to helping people manage their investments and retirement money.
Michael’s main focus has been assisting many people with the adjustment of their financial strategies as they pass from one stage of life to the next.
He does not believe that there is a “one size fits all” when it comes to managing clients’ money. In contrast, he believes that each client’s needs must be addressed with a specific strategy for that client that manages risk while achieving realistic, attainable goals. Michael still actively trades today and attributes that to having a better understanding than most on market fluctuations and what is working and not working when it comes to managing investments.
He specializes in guiding clients to a better way to potentially earn more when a market index goes up, with a focus on how to minimize or eliminate the risk of loss of both principal and earnings. His expertise extends to investment management and income planning strategies that help ensure “a lifetime income that cannot be outlived” with predictable payouts for his clients. For Michael’s clients, planning for their retirement has changed from uncertainty to confidence. As Warren Buffet said years ago, “Rule No.1: Never lose money. Rule No.2: Never forget rule No.1."
Michael currently holds the following licenses in excellent standing:
Series 3, 6, 62, 63 and 65, and a Life and Health Insurance License from Illinois.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys activities with his wife and four children. He and his family are heavily involved in their community and local church. Michael also serves on the board of directors of a public foundation that provides international humanitarian aid.
